School Nutrition Program Technician

Nature of Position: This position performs all maintenance duties within the School Nutrition Department
This position is classified as Support Staff on the N4 scale. It is a salaried position for 260 work days, 8 hours per shift. The salary is based upon individual’s experience as placed on Augusta County Public School’s Salary Scale. Actual salary, fringe benefits, contract terms and conditions of employment will be discussed in detail with the applicant.
General qualifications for the position include:
- Ability to repair coolers, refrigerators, freezers, cold lines, and ice machines.
- Ability to repair all other equipment as needed in the School Nutrition Program.
- Ability to prioritize and organize project schedules.
- Ability to work as a team member in completing work order assignments.
- Demonstration of self-motivation and direction.
Specific skills required:
- Possess a valid Virginia Operator’s License and have a good driving record.
- Knowledge, skills, and work experience in all types of refrigeration and HVAC.
